Primitive Shape Breakdown.

Okayyyyyyyyyyyyyy, Here are some sketches for the primitive breakdown work. I drew the pictures of the Axe, Suitcase and Robot 4. Here are the Pics

Prison And ToonTown.

Okkkkaaaayyyy, let’s talk bout the prisons first. I think the prisons are built High and wide so that prisoners can’t escape easily. I think the structure is also trying to reflect “Authority” and “Strength” of the country’s Government, which is seen in the tall, rigid and angular structure. And also to show to the public that if you commit a crime, this is where you go. The fences are made high so nothing gets in or out.  The lines on the prison are simple and straight, even on the fences. It is trying to say to the prisoners “NO FUNNY BUSINESS”. Now now, Prisons are not somewhere we wanna go also anyways right?

Whileeeeee the structure on the Toontown at japan is more light-hearted, as you can see at the curvy lines on the structure. The building is also made to look low but also to look big at the same time, It is trying to show that this building is for Children due to its low structure and at the same time the children can enjoy something grand from the big-looking castle-like building. The inflated look of the building and the curvy columns give the building a more jovial feeling, suited for children. If I were a boy again, I would definitely want to come to Mickey’s Toontown, for sure.
