Okay, One thing I think I can improve on is certainly when I’m modeling, I should use the reference image more. I mean it’s there for a reason but I seldom use it to model my knife, I refer to my knife more when I’m modeling it. If I were to refer to my reference plane more, I think the proportions would be spot on accurate. This brings me to another issue. When I take a picture for usage on the reference plane, the distance of the camera to my knife wasn’t consistent when taking the pictures of the different sides/perspectives. This would result in making my different reference planes different in proportions. This in return would make my front and top views different in proportions. So I had to improvise a little and instead of relying on the planes, I roughly gauge the dimensions by referring to my knife. And because of that, My blade and the hilt was not in proportion to each other, And I quickly solved this issue by using the scale tool on the blade and enlarging it slightly to make sure it is proportional to it’s hilt.
